Cristóbal Cobo is research fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII). He collaborates in four research projects founded by the European Commission: Network of Excellence in Internet Science; OportUnidad; K-Networks and Socio-Economic Services for European Research. In 2009 he was visiting researcher at the Centre on Skills, Knowledge and Organisational Performance (SKOPE), University of Oxford, granted by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Social Science Research Council (SSRC). His second book “Invisible Learning” (co-written with John Moravec), which register 20,000 downloads, has been presented in a dozen of countries. Recent academic collaborations include institutions like the UNESCO/Commonwealth of Learning (COL); International Development Research Centre (IDRC-Canada); International Labour Organization and European Commission (Seventh Framework Programme). He supervises master students at Oxford Internet Institute and Department of Education, University of Oxford.
