English professor with interests in modernism, science, technology, and the digital. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Gordon College, where I also direct the first-year writing program. My research explores the literature and culture of global modernism, focusing on writers from England, Ireland, and South Asia. I’m particularly interested in the impact of science and technology on all aspects of twentieth-century culture, from the construction of modernist narrative techniques to the evolving understanding of perception and the mind to the changing landscapes of modernist publication and reception.
