The Edições Digitais para a História da Língua Portuguesa (EDHILP) (sécs. XVI-XIX) is a markedly interdisciplinary project, promoting links between linguistics, history and literature on the one hand, and with IT on the other hand. It seeks to make available in an accessible, usable format a significant number of historical documents of metalinguistic interest, from Évora Public Library, creating tools for the user, and providing for the success of future developments deriving from the project: the extension of the corpus to cover other works of a similar nature and also works of a different nature, as well as those in other library collections.
Main researcher of the project: Ana Paula Banza.
